Well hello, and welcome to my blog! In case you don’t know, my name is Carolyn. After two fantastic years in Portland, Maine, I’m adjusting to life in an 1820s farmhouse in the Mt. Washington Valley. I grew up here in the Valley, and I’m excited to be building a new home here as an adult!

This blog will be about rural life, working towards a green lifestyle, and the general pursuit of happiness and amusement. Through it, I hope to stay in touch with friends and family and share my everyday thoughts, but I also hope to inspire people to make positive, green-leaning decisions in their own lives. Our Earth is a precious resource, and I want to highlight my personal journey towards living sustainably.
